Need help solving a doubt!

hello friends, i have a doubt relating to ipcc exam hall ticket.. i am giving my exam this may and i don't know whether we receive our hall ticket by post like we did for cpt. my friend told me that we hav to go online and take the print out of the hall ticket 10 days prior to our exam. so can please any1 tell me when n how exactly am i to receive my hall ticket?

hall ticket..?? what is this....anything new system launched by icai....till now i have not listen this type of conversations.... to inter into icai examination hall we required only admit card thats it....

She is talking of admit cards only. Akshata if you have filled the exam form online then you will have to download the admit card and what your friend has told is correct and if you have posted the form then you will get the admit card by post.

Admit card...then u can take the print of the same from ICAI website and shall require attestation from Any CA to enter in exam..

Answer is by both ways - by post and via internet download.

Ok.. So i hav filled the form online n submitted the print out in my diatrict branch... They post the forms for us... So how do i get my admit card now?

For May 2014 exams, there was a change made by ICAI in its guidance note.

Relevant Extract (Note No. 8):

8. Admit cards with photographs and signatures of all the eligible candidates will be hosted on https://www.icai.nic.in generally 21 days prior to the commencement of the examination. Candidates may print their admit cards from the website, which will be valid for admission to the examination.

Physical admit cards will be sent to only those who had submitted physical OMR exam forms and are found eligible, by post, generally 21 days prior to the commencement of the examination.

No physical admit cards will be sent to those who applied online. They will be required to print their admit cards from the above mentioned website.
