The hope of DTC 2013 to come as it is, is very dim as ICAI is a much powerful institute than ICSI when it comes to corporate affairs (the reason why accounting regulatory body bill is still pending). However ICSI might soon come out with a solution.

This government is pathetic...I hope the Council restores the balance. After all the promise from Mr. Pilot in last year's Convention, this comes as a total shocker. This isnt just about CS losing its charm, its about how Govt. turning a blind eye on purpose towards the Governance in pvt companies. Seems like section 138 is also going to lose its effect...

There is absolutely no need to panic .....

No government will ever close an institute that it itself created...... All the problems that have arrived are drafting problems and because of state of confusion in the mca itself ...

ICSI shall continue as it has been and will ever get a greater scope with the passage of dtc bill as and when it gets passed.

The icai may have its clout but one should not  forget that it is a body created by the parliament and not the parliament itself..... therefore it might oppose the dtc clause in full power , but if it is the intention of government , then no force on the face of this earth , be it icai or something else can stop it from doing so ....

The cma institute too has applied its force to let its members do tax audit which is a very legitimate demand since syllabuses of both the courses match nearly ....

Coming back to icsi , one month from now , we shall all be assured that nothing is going to stop the progress of icsi ....

There is no need to panic.

Dont worry students! Trust in god. Every thing will be ok. Just pray for the best and clear your exams. Be calm & sincere. Empty heads make more noise.
