I am trying to view form 26AS from the TRACES website. But for registering in Traces website, its asking for the challan No. And amount of the tax paid in previous years. I dont have such information available as there was no tax payable in previous years. Is there any other way to view form26 AS? Your advice will be highly appreciated. Regards.

GO WITH INCOME TAX SITE ........it will not ask challan no.

Agree with Shikhar. Income tax website has a link for view 26AS.

Click the above link for 26AS download.

And if you want to open in traces then contact them through mail, they reverts are very quick in these matters, trust me.

You can View 26AS on Income tax Site other wise u can also try filing deductor details while registering in TRACES.

Dear,

Visit the website for income tax e-filling.

Than register you PAN details.

Create Login Id & Passwod.

You can see form 26 AS option in left side after login .

Check out 26 AS.
