The dealer can also apply for voluntary registration by paying registration fees of
Rs. 5,000/-. Registration certificate in such case will be granted with effect from
the date of application. Apart from registration fee of Rs. 5000/-, a dealer is also required to deposit Rs. 25,000/-. This deposit is in the nature of advance tax and is
to be adjusted against his tax liability during the year of registration and in
subsequent financial year
