Group 1 – Click here for Strategy to Clear CA Final Group 1

Financial Reporting – Best option is join class for financial reporting (or arrange class notes of any good teacher near your location). (Reference book : P C Tulsian)

AS - Sanjeev Singhal (BEST) / D S Rawat (simplified)

SFM - J B Gupta book with DVD Lactures (Taxmann Publication) (BEST) . .

Audit - Padhuka (BEST) for important and practical topics (For other portion surbhi bansal) .

Law - Munish Bhandari Handbook (Plus Padhuka for detailed study, if you have sufficient time).

Group 2 Books – Click here for Strategy to Clear CA Final Group 2

AMA / Costing - PC Tulsian (BEST)  plus Study Material and Practice Manual (It is better prepare your own notes for theory portion).

ISCA - Manish Valechha ISCA TextBook  (Memory Based Edition) (BEST).... Best book to fetch high marks in ISCA. Very well written with awesome presentation … most comprehensive yet easy to understand textbook. It explains all topics with examples, diagrams, memory codes (refer Study Material if you have sufficient time but not actually required, study material is time consuming). And at last, go through Practice manual for important questions. All study tips are given in the book itself.

Direct Taxes - T.N. Manoharan Plus Summary Module of Vinod Gupta (Prepare notes for lengthy and typical portion, if possible). (or  Vinod Singhania if you need detailed book, language used in Singhania is live-conversational and very impressive so u can use it for theory and concepts),  (Also check  T G Suresh’s DT book it is very concise book (BEST for revision)  it can be completed easily).

Indirect Taxes - M. Rafi for Concepts (BEST) (Padhuka or Banger for detailed Study and past exam questions)

Thank you for the quick insight of how to go about studying for the finals.

Can you let me know if i need to wait till January to get the books or just buy it now.???

I think you should wait for new edn for theory subjects (till dec or jan).. You can buy FR, SFM and AMA now...

For LAW, only refer AMIT KARIA's CORPORATE & ALLIED LAWS (Bharat Law HOuse)

All the explanations are given in points. Directors, Managerial Remuneration & Powers of the Board are divided into three distinct chapters. All practical problems are answered in points alongwith cross reference at the end of the theory. The methods for appointment of directors ( I searched a lot for meaning of single transferable voting & cumulative voting but didint get anywhere)  is also given alongwith statistical examples. Latest case laws (matter decided in June 12) on Competition Act are also covered. Competition Act - Section 5 on COMBINATIONS -  Only in this book I found tabular presentations. Best Case Laws on Oppression & mismanagement & manner of writing case laws in exam is given...
