Senior's tax filing

In one of the articles, one cpa wrote that seniors above 65 do not have to file tax if they do not have business income. Seniors with business income have to file tax depending upon income. I have not heard of this before. Is it really true for 61 code and for new DTC? Please comment

It is incorrect. As far as filling is concern there is no age restrictions.
