E-filing return

It is mandatory to file your return if your income is above 10 lacs. However, digital signature is not mandatory for anyone. If you file without digital certificate, the only burden is that your have to send signed ITR-V form to IT department.

A person file ITR within the due date i.e. 31july 2012 what is the due date of acknowledgement copy send to CPC bangalore?

Within 120 days

Remember its not 120 days from 31 July. Its 120 days from the day when you submitted your XML and received your ITR V.
