Wise King and a Wise Minister.

The King wanted to test the intelligence of his courtiers.

So he gave a challenge to them.

He gifted everyone 1000 gold coins and told them to separate them in 10 bags in anyway.

But he quoted a condition.

You shall arrange those coins in such a way that you shall provide him
the correct bags containing the exact number of gold coins
without opening them.

That is the King may ask any number from 1 to 1000 gold coins and one shall give the exact bags containing those number.

If he do so, he will be gifted all those 1000 coins and if doesn't he shall return all those coins.

Only the Chief Minister arranged the bags.

HOW DID THE CHIEF MINISTER ARRANGE THE BAGS?

10 bags of 1 coin 10 bags of 2 coins and 10 bags of 5 coins and remining in bags of 10 coins in this way he can make any combination.

this is not standard we need 1 coin, 2 coins and 5 coins bags with these we can make any combination.

Naresh

I'm afraid it is not correct Naresh..

Jiju....I didn't understand the question perfectly.........

Can you explain it with an example..........?

okay Raghu..

Suppose..

the coins are arranged in any order (for eg: first bag may contain 10, second 15 or any random number)

If the king asks 10 gold coins... the king will give first bag.

If the king asks 25 coins... the king will give the first and second bag.

If the king asks 15 coins... the second bag...

But there must be only 10 bags...

No bag shall be opened.
