I HAD CLEARED BOTH GRPS CA IPCC IN MONTH OF NOV 2011 IN FIRST ATTEMPT. I HAVE JOINED A MEDIOCRE FIRM COZ IT IS CLOSE TO MY LOCATION. SOME OF MY FRIENDS TOLD ME I SHOULD HAVE JOINED BIG 4 OR ANY OTHER REPUTED FIRM. I AM IN BIT CONFUSION PLZ HELP ME OUT.

WHETHER FROM WHICH FIRM ONE HAS DONE ARTICLESHIP  MATTERS IN CAMPUS RECRUITMENT ORGANISED BY ICAI ??

HOW ONE SHOULD JUDGE WHETHER A FIRM IS GOOD AS TRANSFER IS ON IN FIRST YEAR OF ARTICLESHIP??

MY PRINCIPAL IS IN PRACTICE SINCE LAST 37 YEARS ,WHETHER IT IS BENEFICIAL TO ME??

select the firm which is near to your home and comforatble woth your ablitiy and further i suggest you to not go for the big4s becouse big4 firm time schedule is very tight it may be create a problem in your final studies.

I would suggest u to join the articleship in small or mediocre firm, which would give you Exposure in all types of work CA perform which is not possible in BIG4 Companies, as they make you stick to any 1 process of your major period of articles.

The work in Big4 companies are hectic.. so it would not provide sufficient time to focus on your studies.
