Dear Sir,
If a person have montly salary of Rs 25000/-, but he/she is absent for 2 days. so we paid him only 23,333/-.
So, my question is whether i have to deduct TDS on 25000/- or 23,333/-

tds is deducted on salary which is payble to employer to employee including all perks and allowance subject to perk and allowance which is exclusively exempt from tax. here salary is payble by emploer to emplyee is 23,333/- so tds will be deducted on 23,333/- not 25,000/-
