Ipcc registration

Sir,

I am working at present in coimbatore as accounts analyst. I have cleared CPT exam last december (ie 2011), and am planning to register for IPCC this month so that i can write exams by november 2012. I want to know if 100hours of ITT is compulsory because i am working as i mentioned earlier... and what is meant by article? Is it compulsary to register IPCC with article? .

Yes 100 Hrs is compulsory and u can register IPCC with article and then after clearing u can join articles too. 

Hi Sir,

the Institute Rules states that before giving an Attempt for IPCC Examination, undergoing the 100Hrs ITT Program is a must. Thus you also need to do it. And as for the articles - U need to work for 3 Yrs under a Chartered Accountant to complete your Articles. The rules with regard to this are also rather strict. So it requires a lot of planning on your part in order to Fulfill both these conditions. Also you can enroll into Articles after your Successful completion of atleast 1 Group of IPCC. So dont worry about that now.

Dear sir,

As per rules, 100 hrs(30 days) ITT is compulsory and along with it 35 hours orientation programme is also compulsory and should be registered with IPCC registration.

These should be completed before joining the articles as per intitute's rules. You can complete these courses even after writing the exams and can be completed before the declaration of results.

Articles is 3 years practical training programme under a CA which should be completed  to be eligible for the final.A student is eligible for articles if he has completed atleast Group I of IPCC.

It is not compusory to register for articles with IPCC registration.But registering with IPCC will be easier.

congrats for clearing yor cpt successfully, aprm  100 hours of ITT  is compullsory along with 35 hours of oreintation programme...... neenga ITT  pannalana , ungalala ipcc group 1 exam attend panna mudiyatha.....and articles is nothing but practicle work tranning.... not necessary to pay for it at the time of ipcc registration..... and ipcc registration should be done before 31st of this month .... all the best....

Hello, Thank  u so much for sharing the information. I too have cleared my CPT (Dec 2011) and have sent the Registration for Both groups of IPCC & ATC with Articles for nov 2012 attempt. Now this 100 hours ITT Training stuff..where do get it done from?? can we do this after clearing the IPCC and before joining into articles??

Hi Brajesh,

The Information Technology Training course should be done from the Regional Chapter of the ICAI nearest to you. The same is to be done on payment of a fee of Rs. 4000/- through DD before attempting the IPCC Examination. Since your articles begin only upon your clearing the IPCC Examination(either group) you need not worry about that.
