Hi one and all….

I am Veeru from Karnataka. Now i am in a deep trouble. So i believe CA Club is the right stage to get proper solutions for my problems. Because this is the place where my friends pursuing the same course and the people already successful in the said field with lots of experience.

I initially registered with PEII course after my graduation in 2006 @ the age of 21 & got eligibility for May 2007 exam. Meanwhile I’ve joined a middle scaled CA firm and worked 3 years in the same. While working also i was highly desired to become CA .But, still I’m clueless what happened to me, i didn’t take up exam till 2010.

Finally i realized the worth of two letters CA. Therefore i quit the office,preparing for May10 exam. Initially everything was going fine but when exam are nearby the two evils called “REGRET& GUILT”came to my mind because of wasting of time 2 years., as a result, i couldn’t concentrate properly& didn’t write last 3 attempts.

All this thing happened because of my Regret and guiltiness. It’s because of my age.

Now i’m a 26 year old guy. When i become CA, I will be 29+ or 30 year old. As i joined CA after graduation I would’ve become CA @ the age of 26. So i’ll be late of 3.5 years compare to others. This is the main reason for my trouble. I became completely down, I’ve lost all interest.

Most of the time i try to console myself that, I’m late of just 3.5 years, I can do wonderful even. But somehow it wins to screw my head. Moreover most of my cousins are engineers and doctors. They started earning @ their prime age around 22-23. This doesn’t affect me, but my relatives try to hurt me by saying you r still studying, not earning some thing like that.

So after all these things, i’m in the state of mind that, I should be in the best position in all aspects of life than them by get through CA with good marks and of course with good knowledge.

The only interruption in this regard is being late of 3.5 years, I feel i’m late. I qualify CA @ 29+. I’m inferior about where people , companies do think otherwise because of late qualified.

I would like to go for employment after qualifying CA. So in Campus placement, do good companies prefer CA’s who newly qualifies at the age of 30 (provided with good knowledge)?? Because now a days students qualifies 25-26 of age.

I strongly believe” KNOWLEDGE COUNTS”. If fresh CA has sound knowledge, good companies do hire them even if they are behind 32-33 year old. Age doesn’t matter at all. Isn’t it??

So, kindly am requesting my dear brothers, sisters & frnds, who have participated in campus placement, please do guide me.

If I get red of my worries, definitely I’ll be qualified as CA within 30 years of my age.

Do you thing the two magical letters “CA” has the capacity to change the one’s entire life style and take him to the high position in the society??

Can it be giving back the things what ever i’ve lost in my past life (provided with good knowledge)??

I SUPPORT MYSELF………… Shell I go ahead with confidence??

Abhi nahi to kabhi nahi.

You think a lot but dont do any action. If you have taken the steps earlier, then you must have crack the exam.

I just want to say you that there are lots of students who start CA at the age of 34/35 and become CA in 40. They dont think like you.

There are students who start early but couldnot clear the exam and their age increases. But still they dont leave hope and continue to do hardwork in one hope that they will clear the exam without thinking about their age.

Every student who clear CA in his 30 or30 plus, they are equally qualify for the job with the students who clear in their early 20 and except some companies others dont ask for when you clear and in how many attempts you clear. They are concerned with the work not with your age.

Concentrate in your studies.

Even if u qualify till 30.it will not be late.because u will cherish this carrier for rest of ur life.2-4 years don't count for such a prestigious course. FORGET PAST & GRAB FUTURE. BEST OF LUCK

Imagine you are 35 and still occupied with a mid scale ca firm and a low income, will the guilt of 3.5 years hurt or will you regret that you should have taken exam in may 2010. anyways, life isn't a race. life is taking up your own mess and starting all over again.

Don't worry the longer you push yourself on the age factor, the harder it will get to focus on ca and then your biological clock (age) is ticking like a bomb...if you postpone any one exam your chances of clearing ca gets extended by 1 year, so if you postpone the nov 2011/may 2012 exam then your age of becoming ca gets extended and then you will be 30.

screw the age, specialization and skill is what will take you far. had age been the factor then all young ca would have become billionaire by 35 but NO! only those students who are good excel in their profession.

PS: you have made it sound so easy, you have made all the calculations and assumed that you will be clearing ca in one attempt, frind if you clear the ca in one attempt, the corporate world will suck you and grab you like a cookie because you are smart enough to clear it in one attempt means you are good enough for them, but then the hard fact is different things don't go as per plan and it might take one more than 1 attempt to clear ca. please don't postpone exams and EVERYTHING CANNOT BE CALCULATED after exam all you can count on is harwork and hope that the question paper comes as per your expectations, we already have different pattern in papers and often one's atempt get ruined. like this year ipcc law paper, most student expected case studies but then no case studies were found in paper only theoritical tradtional questions. conclusion- everthing cannot be calculated, karm kiya ja baki ki chinta chod de.

Hey viru i am also 26 and in the same position as u r same things came in to my mind while i study and i m also unable to concentrate ...i was also a PE2 student cleared PEI in first attempt but due to some reason i m unable to gave PEII exam that was my mistake i know..but i forget the past ...

Now i have enrolled for IPCC and trying to become a CA ...Just do it yaar forget the past ..

U r not alone mai b tumhare sath hu....

hi.c i hv gvn my ca final exams in nov11 and i dont know whether i'll get thru or not,but i know one thing winners r not quitters and quitters r not winners.its ok if u r late atleast if u'll gv exams u wont regret ur entire life that u cud hv done it if u wud hv never thought of being late or not and if u r so passionate to b ca then may b u get thru this time only and may b u become ca even b4 attaining age of 30.its not time to sit and regret what happened,past is history nw,mk ur present and future worthwhile by doing hard work.hv faith in urself and god,jst stop thinking and let ur actions speak for u,study with full dedication and gv ur best shot and leave rest to go and stop thinking abt past it wont help u,dont make urself deprived of being ca jst bcoz of such wasteful thoughts.its never too late buddy,go for it achieve ur goal so that u can c urself clearly above the crowd with no regrets.all the best.
