feeling depressed..had many dreams..

today was law exam..one of my worst days...when i joined ipcc i was dreaming to clear it with flying colours.....i gave my accounts paper..it went awesome...

i asked many students..who are in final as well as who are doing ipcc..they all told me that it will be practical based questions...no thoery..i am in 1st year corres too so i havnt learnt anything in law till now..i used to underatand things for law case studies..bt ICAI..my all dreams have broken..i wont even get 20 marks..i was doing case studies for the last 1.5 days hoping to get an exemtion in law..bt sala kismat hi kharab hain..kya karun..i did my best hard work..huh..bhagwan ko yahi manzoor tha..

dont be depressed yaar. neext exam me exemption ki koshish kro. dont lose hope. waise bhi ipcc ke law me cases kam hi aate hai its more theory.

Hi lakshay,

Please don't be depressed. Look forward and always have a positive attitude. Worrying or thinking negative or being depressed is not at all a solution to any problem. Be positive and hopeful. Study well and appear for other subjects. Believe in yourself. Believe in GOD. Believe in your PARENTS BLESSINGS and wishes of your friends and family.

Where there is a will, there is a way. Who knows about the examiner and his mindset while correcting your paper. You may even get exemption. Trust me, All happens, is only for good.

Not clearing CA exams in first attempt is not uncommon at all. Much more people fail than pass in these exams. These are not school exams where failing is a shame. Many partners in the Big Fours also have failed several times. I had a classmate who got a rank in PE2 but failed in his finals. He was also the one who topped the college EVERYTIME. Nobody expected him to not score a rank, leave alone fail.

But dont make an assumption before the results come out. Last time I gave a casual attempt and for my law paper I had prepared from only three chapters, NI, Bonus & Gratuity. I wrote for some 50 marks from my common sense and some nonsense :) and expected just 25 odd and surprise, surprise! I got 44! Although it was useless it gave me some confidence.

In any case, even if you do not clear this one and perform well in the rest, you could get exemptions in the other. Just imagine, having to write only one or two papers in your next attempt (that too If need be)! Its much better than writing the entire group again right?

So buck up and give the remaining ones your best shot! You never know, you could end up clearing even this one!

Practically to pass law paper at CA Inter level studying Munish Bandari book is useful and fetches clarity on subject without much confusion . Later go for Test Papers and updates to know the concerned areas which need more concentration.

Don't think of the law paper, leave it on the examiner who knows...? you can get exemption also...

if u will keep law paper in your mind than your next paper might get effected.........

so for now just keep concentrate on your next papers.

Hi Lakshay,

There is no need to worry at all. Don’t come to the conclusion so early. Give some time to you and your mind. You haven’t done that bad...trust me dear...

You have a long way to go brother...so don’t panic.

You should have done some research on exam pattern but never mind you can’t comment on ICAI valuation system....fail ko pass or pass ko fail karna is the history of ICAI.

You have mentioned that “all your dreams have broken” which is not correct and a bit harsh to yourself and your efforts. I can understand that you are feeling a bit low because you have made a stupid mistake. But it is okay bro....

Mistake are there to enhance your experience. Now your duty is to use this experience to your future exams. So any sort of depression does not make any sense to me.

Further we are not the right person to judge the results...let ICAI do the valuation.

Once again check your paper jo bilkul bhi bura nahi hua hai...trust me....and respect your efforts...and move with the flow.

Always be positive in exams and life.
