i got a intimation u/s 143 1a of income tax regarding demand.. however, i filed my income tax return correctly, then also i got this intimation..

can u plz help me regarding this?

the demand might have been due to TDS mismatch or challan mismatch. write an application, enclosing original form16/16A or original challan to rectify the mistake, if any, to your jurisdictional AO

the demand is raised due to non granting of depreciation expenses.... you should check deon schedule whether if everything is correctly feeded....& then file e-rectification in which there wil be options...select the appropriate mention & upload X M L file...physical rectification wil be possible only if thr case gets ttansferred from cpc to jurisdictional AO

where dep mentioned in cpc order?? and i checked it, depreciation is correct..

on page 11... annexure E- Business & Profession...... if correct file e-rectification

Your claim for depreciation has been disallowed due to which your income liable for tax has been revised upwards. Hence tax liability has also increased. You need to find out the reason as to why the depreciation claim has been disallowed.
