Hi All,

we want to write off the some Debtors having the credit balance.

kindly help me out for passing this entry

Debtor having credit balances, its means some advances were obtainted from debtors or wrong may be done by accountant i.e. purchases were routed from creditors ledger errorneously disclosed as Debtor.

Therefore, its advisable to you gone though these ledgers having credit balance. from the beginng, details underdstanding of each entries.

final entry will be

Debtor A/c debit

to Sundry bal w/o

Dear expert, I wanted to know if by mistake in last year by accountant some ledger balance of debtors get written off .what to do bring back in p& l without effecting opening balance.
