Cst sell

I m a trader. Last month I had sell the goods in maharastra on cst but I had issue a tax invoice to a byer some one told me that it is complasary to issue a retail invoice on cst sell agaist c form . Is it right ? If yes then what I have to do ? Pls give me guidance Thanks

sir

it is not compulsory to raise the invoice against C Form. the only requirment for you to effect interstate transaction is you should be registered dealer under the CST Act. the commodity sold has to be already included in the registration certificate. if the buyer of the other State submitting C Form declaration for the particular transaction, value, then you can raise the invoice under CST Act against C form with reduced rate of tax. Incase, if you are raising the invoice at a lower rate of tax on the promise of the buyer to producing a C Form in future, you are liable for difference rate of tax in case of non production of C form later as promised
