i got registere for cpt on 27 march 2007 .. i gave my 1st cpt june bt couldnt clear it.. wil i have to re register myself in icai.. cause i have heard cpt registration is only for 3yrs plz rply asap

hello shivani ,
You have heard that is correct Cpt registration is valid for 3 year from the date of registration date.
But if you had registered before 12 standard than 3 year starts from your 1st exam ie, your june exam .
If than you are falling in re-registration part than you are required to make dd of rs. 500 payable to ICAI not at new delhi but to your own regional office that is the point you should take care off.
