Its better to go subject wise as you have enough time. from my side it is advisable to go for IDT now and schedule the DT later on as DT will ammend more than IDT for eg... Direct code may come to the picture.
But whatever will be your plan attending tutions is not enough but learning and loving the subject is more important
All d best!

IDT ammendements are more adaptable and understandble too.. These ammendemnts wont impact your preparation later on. But in case od DT for sure you have to learn all the provisions again and have to remember again the rates of tax.. take little time and decide by consulting some other tooo

HI...
If you ask me to suggest between dt and idt ..i would like to tell. go with dt..Becoz of fallowing reasons
-DT is a vast subject which requires much effort to go through than idt...Idt is pretty easy to cover even durin the last days of your preparation we can brodly divide idt into Excise,customs,vat,st.....What ever you read in idt for exam all those were basic you can cover up even by novel reading..
-its hard to score marks in DT..where as in IDT you can easily get exemption.
-If you are doing systematic prepartation you can very well know which part to study .,the same is not that easy with DT...
