Note:

1.        On 15th September 2009, 44397 passengers have been screened at the Airports 83 counters manned by 225 doctors and 172 paramedics. Total passengers screened till date is 5933126.

2.        Till date, samples from 30839 persons have been tested for Influenza A H1N1 in Government Laboratories and  a few private Laboratories across the country and 6800 (22%) of them have been found positive.

3.        Out of the 212 cases reported during the day, all are indigenous.

4.        Five deaths are reported during the day, 2 from Maharashtra (1 Mumbai, 1 Solapur), 2 from Gujarat (2 Surat) and 1 from Karnataka (1 Bangalore).During the day, Rajasthan (Jaipur) reported one lab confirmed death of 22 August; also,Haryana (Faridabad) reported a lab confirmed death of 11 September.
