anybody please help me out on this following topics................

My question is ..............

1) Can anybody file his/her own income tax through e-filing?

2) Is it compulsory to prepare a return file by a Tax Return Preparer or a Chartered Accountant & sign on it by CA or Tax Return Prapare ?

3) Is return of an individual compulsory to be digitally signed?

Dear Sanjib.. 1.It is always the responsibility and duty of the assessee himself/herself to file respective return of income,.. 2.Its not at all compulsory to file the return through TRP its an option only. CA doesnt sign d return he jst conducts tax audit in case turnover exceeds Rs. 60 lakhs. 3.Return of an individual is nt compulsory to b signed digitally..jst manualy sign ITR-V nd send it to Bangalore...

Help once again .....................

1) In case of online file of income tax is there any requirement to inform or send any type of document to the local income tax department ?

2) will the ITR-V automatically generate after uploading the XML file and thereafter we can download it and send it to CPC Bangalore ?

1.No document needs to b sent to the department if u r filng return online. 2.yes itr v wl b generted automaticaly nd u need to downld nd sign it nd send to bangalore!!
