Is it possible to incorporate a company in one state and have its registered office in another state?

Since it is online filing, the Forms can be uploaded from anywhere or any state. There is also no restriction on execution of documents (MOA and AOA) in the same state where registered office of the company proposed.

However, for any queries wrt resubmission, need approach jurisdiction of the concerned ROC where the registered office falls.

But is it possible that my business will be operational in bangalore and my registered office will be located in Mumbai?

Possible but not in true spirit of the law.
