Refer to Schedule III of the Companies Act, 2013. It contains the format for preparation and presentation of financial statements - Download

Note 1: Up to F.Y. 2013-14, Revised Schedule VI notified under the Companies Act, 1956 is applicable whereas from F.Y. 2014-15 onwards, Schedule III will be applicable - Clarified by MCA General Circular No. 08/2014, dated 04.04.2014.

Note 2: Except for addition of general instructions for preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements (CFS), the format of financial statements given under Schedule III is almost the same as that of revised Schedule VI.
