Commodity code and hsn code/terrif item

Dear Experts, Please tell me that in new Annexure 2A and 2B of DVAT there is added new column asking for Commodity Code and HSN Code. I am wondering that where could i get those Codes. I have downloaded a file from DVAT site and Commodity Code is there but can't find HSN Code and Teriff Item.

Please guide me that where i could get it.

can someone reply to above question. while filling the code given in commodity classification like 562000 it is coming in yellow in offline block so i am unable to upload the return pls adv

for Which Item's code you are looking for ??

You can only put the Item Code as provided by DVAT Department. You can get the code list by following below link

you see we are giving code what is there in our return for e.g.

FABRICS 213000

YARN EXCLUDING WOOL 526000

further 2b is not getting Imported into offline block, someone told me that there is problem in software pls adv

The Code mentioned by you above are Old codes, Now department has changed the Codes of items, please follow the link given above by me and download the file have New Codes of Commodity.

There is problem in Offline Block, will be update on 03/05/2016.

TEAM STBA met VAT Commissioner on 25/04/2016, Commissioner assured extension of return filing due date till 16/05/2016 for Q4 15-16. Futther assured ITEM NAME AND ITEM CODE to be optional for Q4 15-16, Members advised to file returns only after new updation of software i.e. 03/05/2016

Thanks for your quick reply. Now the problem for 2A is solved. However while importing 2B it is givng error massage as " Index and lenght must refer to a location within the string. Parameter name length." Pls solve this problem also

Dear Sir, Problem of code has been solved i got a latest comodity and code file where i have seen all comodities and codes which i had required.

Dear Sir, One thing i needed to know that there is a purchase in February 2016 on C.S.T. at concessional rate of 2% but during transaction client did not apply for C Form online. Can we apply now for C Form? Return still have not been filed of that quarter.

Please guide us..

You can apply for c form for Period from Jan16 to Mar16 after e-filing of DVAT Return for subsequent Quarter.

thanks for new information for date extent of Dvat. I saw commodity code but some item have no code. i am working Export company, send material for Dying charges & against "C" form 2% cst add what is code & commodity name please advice,
