It depends on the location where you'll be applying. USA, Middle East, Canada give more importance to US qualifications i.e. CMA, CPA etc. Europe gives more importance to CIMA, ICAEW.

CMA (US)

Be a Certified Management Accountant - CMA from IMA(US) and get ICWAI membership on reciprocity basis

CMA (Certified Management Accountant) credential awarded by IMA (US) is an advanced professional certification that delivers tangible value. Earning CMA(US) demonstrates your professional expertise in financial planning, analysis, control, decision support, and professional ethics – skills that are in demand by top MNCs around the world. CMA (US) is considered as equivalent to ICWA as per an MOU signed between IMA & ICWAI. A CMA (US) also enjoys 50% paper exemption in ACCA (UK).

Thanks and regards
