Change of address in st1 form

i have  to change the address of the applicant ,i have tried for that  via "amend registration", but it is showing no such record is  found.... wht i h ave to do for this...

address can not be changed,  what is the reason for change of address? if its typographical error in registration then submit your correct address proof to R/O with request to make correction, he will do it.

to shift the base of assessee, with permanent change, he has to get new reqistration and cancell the old one.
