29 May 2010I want to know that if finished goods are return in factory, we are taken the credit in under rule 16 and when it remove then pay excise. but when goods are accedent and return in factory what is the procedure in excise and can we take the cenvat Credit of excise

In that Situation you can take the Cenvat Credit against the Accedent vehicle invoice, in this sitution you can prue the Vehiucle accedent ( copy of FIR) and you are not clim insurence of your finshed goods.

Dear Sir,
As you told me that i can not take the claim of insurance but we have transist insurance we have to claim the policy other wise we have suffer loose.kindly suggest the way that i can take credit and claim the insuracne polocy

then you can not take cenvat credit. kindly go through the Rule 21 CER
