Career change over from audit to finance

Dear friends,

I have passed my CA inter and have completed my article ship. At present iam working as Deputy manager internal audit in a company.

Iam planning to make a changeover from audit to finance department of a company.

I have no experience in budgeting,preparing budgets,projected financial statements etc., as my areas of exposure in articleship was mainly towards audit.

Please let me know if I can be successful if I get into a finance department of a company given the fact that I have only  5 years of audit experience.
