Hi Sunil,

Cst is applicable when u are selling goods iutside the state . there are 2 types of vat applicabe one is normal rate or you can collect form C from buyer and charge concetional rate.

VAT is applicable on every good sold. VAT rate varies from 5%-14.5%.

i have recieved a invoice of sale+ service from wipro with maharashtra tin no in haryana tin no,party charges service tax on 90% invoice value and vat 5% on remaining 10 % value,i want to know can party charges vat if party place at interstate and secondly i want to know can we deduct wct on this invoice,because interstate sale is not liable to deduct wct as per wct rule,please clerify my point.
