can lessee deduct gst from rent . lessor is not registered.
landlord's turnover is within threshold. He had rented building to bank. Bank insists on deducting gst from rent. Can the bank deduct. I have told the bank that they will pay gst on Reverse charge method and claim input tax credit. the bank does not agree to RCM .

No bank will not deduct. They have to pay GST on RCM from their fund because they are going to take claim of same.
