Can CA having COP and membership no. practice in his own name??,,and can sign tax audit report and other certificate,audit report & balance sheet without having FRN No.??

Dear Bhavik,

yes, sole practitioner can do all tasks which a sole proprietor can.

Even i am having COP, but not yet registered as sole proprietor and still i am signing all the documents (without FRN)

My confusion is while signing Trust Audit Report,Tax Audit Report, Balance sheet etc..sholud i write like this..

For,Bhavik Shah or only Bhavik Shah??

Dear Bhavik,

you may write For Bhavik Shah... and then all other things... no problem in writing For...

and also arrange Stamp on your sole practitioner name.... to affix on Audit Report etc.

Also Please clarify the being a partner in one of the Partnership Firm with having FRN No.

can i still practice in sole practitioner basis with my individual on my Mem. No.?

I am a new Company Secretary. I have availed my CP number too and now i have decided to practice in my individual name without registering the Firm.

Hello Mr. Bhavik, I am planning to practice in my own name. Hence didnt apply for FRN. But when i am trying to file ITR 6, as my client is liable for Tax audit u/s 44AB, when i select "Yes" under 'AUDIT DETAILS', it is asking for "Proprietorship/firm registration number". Can you guide me what i need to do here?
