Respected Members,
I wanted to inquire if a legal heir can claim his/her right to being a director of a company (in this case, pvt. ltd.) in which his/her father worked as a full time director, until he passed away.

No please. Director has to be appointed by the Board/shareholders as per provisions of the Act. Financing institution/JV partner etc. can also be given right to nominate director as per provisions of the relevant Act/Articles.
