Calculation of depreciation for accicdent truck

Please let me Know if on 15th January Truck met with an accident insurance company paid Claims After 3 months 15th April ( financial year Changes) 1)Should I charge Depreciation till the date of insurance Cliams Recived or 2)the Date of Accident
