I have made an Excel sheet for calculating profit from investment in shares on FIFO basis.

I am attaching the demo sheet to explain the requirements

However, if the quantities of sale and purchase are different, then I have to manually split the purchase quantities to match the sale quantities.

Mr. Shailesh has made and posted an excel sheet solution but it is in a different format.

I shall be grateful if the members can look at my excel sheet and suggest a solution for automation

The attached file computes profit for a single scriptt as per FIFO method. You are just required to punc in your trasactions and file will compute your profits

Hi everybody,

No XLS need! Try https://stockfo.com and calculating as FIFO, LIFO and HIFO methods online.

Ok ok you need xls for upload transactions :)
