Breaking news friends.=> This source is taken frm THE ECONOMIC TIMES, CA top salary zooms to Rs 70 lakh,=> CREATING. a record in its placement history,the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI)has placed three of its candidates at a record salary of close to Rs 70 lakh with Singapore-based Olam International.This is the highest ever salary offered to fresh CAs recruited from the ICAI campus.the three candidates who have been offered the record salary,almost double the earlier high, Not just global firms but domestic giants too have aggressively picked up CAs on the first day.Leading private sector bank ICICI emerged as the biggest employer by hiring 100 candidates, we r proud that we r CA Student,thanku ICAI,jai ho.

Though OLAM International is Singapore based company but it places Indian CA's in Africa ( Nigeria and Congo ) !!!!
How will be ur life ???
only Money is not everything !!!!!
5 yrs later if u wanna change the job, then u will be having exposure of Poor African Market !!!

Agree with Hammad. It is great to hear such high packages being offered to CA freshers but if the posting is going to be in Nigeria, Congo or some other African country, then its really not something to celebrate. Just imagine whats going to be your quality of life in those countries....after all money is not everything in life.
