Hi All,

Just came across the pass percentages of CA Final and it seems like that ICAI is not keen on getting back to old days of 2 or 3 % result. So, given the condition of jobs in the industry for CA, What you think that Why ICAI is doing it?

Is it due to pressure from RTI & Ruling of Re assessment or ICAI is trying to releive students of pressure?

Guys please share ur views !!!

Is pass percentage announced by ICAI? I saw a post mentioning the results pass percentage to be 15% but the source was some regional newspaper and there is no announcement on ICAI website.

MCA  has instructed the three institute to nearly double the pass percentage because with growth of indian economy ,India needs more professsional like Govt. has increased no. of IIT .It is because of this reason in comming years there will be a huge increase in % of passing .

Higher pass % is due to tougher competition and students' hard work.....this is new generation of CA where the rankers are getting 8o%+ and they really deserve that. Salute to them!!

SUNNY, CA,CS,CMA are all professional qualification in academic nature. After becoming memeber one or more community it is the person who has decide it career.Merely passing can not and should not ensure highly paid up jobs.

After becomming a doctor one can not ensure he will earn huge. CA,CMA,CS are also same in nature

Okie.

So. if a employer has to filter out a good CA out of such a huge dump of Pass outs. It is easy to filter out a Good MBA by Good College & Percentage... There may be a criteria of filtering by Ranks But it is not the right criteria as they may have Dummy Articleship Exposure.....

Thats the only concern !!!

Passing many CAs doesn't ensure quality. Change my name, if the upcoming campus placement becomes successful.

9pc freshers(attendants) got job offers during last campus. What about ICAI president's saying that "minimum package will be fixed at 9lacs pa"?

I dont think MCA gave any such instruction. Recession me 16pc passout; == more unemployed CAs(i consider CAs working at 10000pm as unemployed; even if CA firm me kaam karenge toh atleast 17-18k toh milni chahiye).

God save CA's brand value.....
