Ca - final registraton

Hii, 
Final exams are only due after the completion of 2.5 years of Articleship period. 
So applying this to you case, YOu passed your ipce in may'12 and i assume you have started your articleship on or before 31st october '12 then your final attempt will be in MAY 2015. 

As far as registration is concrned, you are free to register anytime.and the registration of finals has no connection with your final attempt.

I am Pretty much Sure about this  

After 2.5 years of articleship only, you can appear for final exams for one or both the groups.

As per Regulation 50 of the CA Regulations, 1988, a student will be eligible to appear in  Final Exam, after completing of 30 months (2 Years and 6 months) of article ship.
