What are the rules for claiming exemption in ca final? And is there any condition of securing minimum marks in other subjects like 20 or 30?

You just need to score more than 60 in the subject and automatically u'll get exemption from that paper for the next 3 terms

It means dat there is no condition for securing minimum marks in other 3 papers?

What are the rules regarding “exemption” and validity period?

A candidate who has appeared in all the papers comprised in a group/unit and fails in one or more papers comprised in that group/unit but secures a minimum of 60% of the marks in any paper or papers of that group/unit shall be eligible for exemption in that paper or papers in the next three following examinations.

Minimum Markes 40 per subject required in any cost. Exempted Marks Calculate @ the time of Agregate total of the Particular Group.

minimum 40 marks in each subject required...........no provision for set-off marks ...its not income tax

for claiming exemption in a particular paper , you need to score atleast 60 in that paper..there is no rule of securing any mimimum marks in the other subjects..

suppose u score 67 in DT but only 36  in iDT,even then u will get exemption in IDT

i have seen students apeearing for just single paper t o get exemption..
