I am a Maharashtra Board student. I am planning to appear for CA CPT this June. But I am a Science student and have zero knowledge of accounts and Economics. What would be the best way to approach these subjects as I have to start them from scratch?
Thanking you in anticipation.

Hiii....I was from science background as well.I had cleared cpt in my first attempt.I had started my preparations by studying the basics of accounts from DOUBLE ENTRY BOOK KEEPING of accounts of CBSE board and it helped me a lot to grasp the concepts of basic accounts. So,I would advice the same to u as well to go through the basics of accounts right from +2 syllabus and learn the concepts on your own.Its very easy to learn accounts. There's no diificulty involved in it.As far as eco. and other papers are concerned you can learn it from CA study materials as well.
But,do make sure to make QA as your strongest paper among all as you are from science background. It will help u a lot in the long run as well as in cpt.
GOOD LUCK....
