My question is that
1.. A company is receiving retails & wholsale incentives . Whether is it liable for service tax.
2. What if incentives are being received through price adjustments from purchase.

Bussiness Auxilary Service as covererd under the definition of business auxilary service given in section 65(19)of chapter V of finance act,1994 as amended and have been made chargeable to service tax W.e.f.01.07.2003.
dealer to BPCL LPG Cylinder Domestic and Commercial cooking gas .we have recive Notice from Service tax Department today.
Receive remuneration/commission from these companies in lieu of providing these services.Such services provided by you fall under the category of "BUSSINESS AUXILIARY SERVICE" as coverd.
So please i want to know abount above services.we are already Vat tax dealer in our State.

For what purpose you have received incentives in the first place. Is there any agreemenet? What the agreement says?
