Building Committee-Legal Entity

Hi All,

There is an old bldg (PAGDI SYSTEM), the tenants have formed a committee as Kashmiri Building Seva Sangh.

Now what will be the status of committee? can it be considered as co-operative society??

What status need to be mentioned while applying for PAN, TAN.

But why not co-operative society?? as committe has chairman, treasurer, secretary, etc...

If it has to come Under Co-operative socity then tat organisation has to register under Co-operative socity Act.
