HOW TO MAKE BRS OF EEFC ACCOUNT..

1. IN THE EEFC ACCOUNT AMOUNT IS IN FOREIGN CUURENCY WHILE IN THE SAP (ACCOUNTING SOFWARE) IT IS IN INDIAN RUPPES.

2. THERE ARISES THE ACCOUNTING GAIN AND LOSS DUE TO FLUCATION HOW THIS SHOULD BE TREATED IN BRS.

The layout can be changed to document currency in SAP so that you get the figures in the system in foreign currency. However, if foreign currency transactions are done manually (in domestic currency), the following points may be kept in mind: 1. Transactions in foreign currency will have to be manually tracked as entered in the system. 2. Once it has been ensured that all transactions have been accounted for (by comparing with the bank statement), any difference after translation can be safely recognised as gain or loss. 3. EEFC is like a checking account in foreign currency. No major reconciling items would normally arise.
