May 2016..u can give attempt  whn u have completed 2.5 yrs of articleship... if under IPCC ...

Your first attempt will be Nov 2016.

For giving May 2016 attempt, one must complete his 3 years of articleship including extension, if any, on or before 31st Oct 2016, which is not so in your case.

I am sure about your attempt so do not get confused with the views given above. Your attempt will be Nov 2016.

 one is eligible for a prepone attempt if 6 mnths articleship without excess leave is left so according to me attempt would fall due in may 2016.. i may be wrong so please confirm from reliable sources...

As per Regulation 50 of the CA Regulations, 1988, a student will be eligible to appear in  Final Exam, after completing of 30 months (2 Years and 6 months) of article ship.

As per this you will be eligible for May 2016 attempt.

May 16.......... if 2.5yrs of articleship is completed on 1st May 2016
