Articleship transfer

I have completed 10 months of articleship and now I want transfer from the firm.the principal has strictly denied me for taking transfer and said he would not give me transfer at any cost.this led to quarrel between us and he even said that I should leave the office in a very misconductive manner. Plz suggest me what should I do because I want to take transfer at any cost. Suggestions reqruired
