Actually, my principal used to give me stipend through Cheque but now he asks office peon to deposit stipend in my bank account ........is it acceptable by institute?i m worried.,reply fast...........

As per ICAI rules, stipend shall be paid on a monthly basis either by crossed a/c payee cheque (or) deposited in the bank account of the articled assistant, specially opened for this purpose. So it is right in my opinion.
