Articleship or job in ca firm with dummy articleship

Hello everyone i need ur help As i am unable to decide rather to continue my articleship or go for a job in a ca firm and take a dummy articleship Because CA final is a vast course which need a lots of time for coachings and self study which will force me take leaves for long period so my articleship will get extend and i dont want that. As true purpose of articleship is to gain complete practical knowledge of this profession and i think job in a mid size ca firm will serve the purpose so plz suggest...!!

75% of the students take the dummy, then do paid up jobs in CA FIRMS....even many people will not agree, but they know it is the fact.
so i believe you think wisely and take the decision.

ya i think its a best option to avoid extention of articleship and focus on ca final....!!

Hi friends,

I am appearing for IPCC group II exams, want to do articleship...I dont want to do dummy articleship. it really wont give any practical knowledge...

But In articleship stipend is very very low. With very low stipend its very difficult to stay in city. ... pls give some idea... Can i Register for articleship and carry the work / training with another practising accountant / with the registered principal (articleship registered principal), in his another office which is near to my place...

Articleship is one of the best part of CA students life as in this stage, you are able to apply the theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom in the practical world. So if you want to ruin your CA career before it starts by doing a dummy articleship, don’t do that. It is a shame for the entire CA profession. If you think that by doing a dummy articleship you are saving the time which you can utilize for studying then you are wrong. You may be able to crack the CA final exam but you will not be able to survive in the market as companies don’t want people with theoretical knowledge, they want people who are able to solve their business problems practically and take the business to new heights.
