Applicable of vat on sale of residential appartments

Dear All,

I am working in a proprietorship concern. Our concern  has constructed 30 residential flats in a appartment and sold during F.Y. 2010 -2011,

Please confirm me , Whether VAT is applicable on sale of this flats.

no vat is not liable for house.....and land...or appartment...it is house tax..concern municipal...cor...for valuation and paid for duty..of sales....
