Dear Friends,

I have a problem in paying appeal fees by net banking.

My client namely Sub-Registrar a State Govt office , got a demand order for

penalty for late filing of AIR RETURNS,

Being Govt department it does not have PAN no.

It have TAN no but there is not any option under which i can pay

appeal fees for AIR RETURNS

PLZ. SOLVE MY PROBLEM AS EARLEIST POSSIBLE

visit the concerned officer who has issued the demand,

for govt departments i feel that there is no need to appeal but clarification statement would serve the purpose.

as govt departments are bound to comply all the terms and conditions, so either the penalty is payable or they will drop it, after getting compliance and clarification, it should not go in hearing and other related procedure,
