strike will deemed change so it is possible . . . . . . . . THIS TECHNIQUE USED BY OUR INDIA'S FUNNIEST CRICKETER MR. HARBHAJAN SINGH IN THE 34TH MATCH OF IPL-4 PLAYED BETWEEN MUMBAI INDIANS VS. RAJASTHAN ROYALS ON 29TH APRIL 2011. . . . . . . . . BY THIS WAY BHAJJI HIT A SIX BUT UNFORTUNATLY MI LOSS THAT MATCH. . . . . for more clarification watch higilight of the match on youtube. . . . . . . . Thanks

(remaining 1 ball) and take 3 runs. But unfortunately he
takes 1 run short, due to which he can just take 2 runs
which allows him to reach a ton(hits century).

Now the 11th batsman who
is on 94 will hit a six on the final ball and thus he also
makes a century.

Team also wins..

A well defined answer...........

the first theoryis wrong.. its a misconception that if  a batsman is awarded 5 runs just because the ball hits the helmet,, a batsman gets ONLY 4 runs if the ball hits the helmet  PLUS the number of runs the batsman has managed to run.. so if he runs once its 4+1=5 , if he runs 2 runs then its 4+2 =6. if he takes odd runs like 1 or 3 the strke his bound to change and therefore he can get to his century!

Mr Ravi I have two answers of this question :

1) Both the batsman are from different team, hence two different matches are running so there is no question about to complete centuries, they both will complete their centuries,,

2)and second is as stated by Mr Rahul Kakaria and by other friends...

am i right??

No sourav,

If batsman runs short, then the short run will not counted but the strike would be changed..
