how to analysis a company's balance sheet in respect of ratios so that future position of company is to be known.

One can not get assurance about the future result of the company based on the analysis of past events.

However; one can can idea about the true position of the company through Return on equity , Debt to equity rati, Net profit margin.

Above list is indicative only and further ratios may be calculated based on the facts of individual cases.
