Advice on signing tax audit cases by a newly qualified ca
Dear sir
My friend has Qualified his CA course in may 2016 and has received his full time COP and Membership number on 5th september 2016.
Is he eligible to sign corporate and non corporate tax audit ?

Sure. As long as ethical and other legal requirements like letter of appointment from client, taking NOC from previous auditor, ceiling limits etc. are fulfilled, he can definitely accept an engagement as tax auditor.
